Unwavering in Prayer
"Praying for the Family of God and for those who are not yet in Christ."
Dear friends in Christ, let us remain unwavering in our prayers for the family of God and for those who have yet to experience the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ. In Colossians 4:2, Paul encourages us, "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Our prayers are not mere words spoken into the void but are dynamic acts that welcome God's transformative presence into the lives of others. As we appeal on behalf of our fellow believers, let us keep in mind those who are facing challenges, those who are celebrating, and those who are seeking spiritual growth. Let us lift them up with unwavering faith, knowing that God hears our prayers and works through them for His glory.
It's important to remember those who have not yet experienced the love of Christ. In 1 Timothy 2:1-4, Paul urges us to pray for all people, including those in authority, so that we may live peaceful lives. God desires all people to be saved and to come to know the truth. Our prayers for the unsaved are crucial as we work with God to share His salvation. Let's pray earnestly for hearts to be opened, minds to be enlightened, and lives to be transformed by the saving power of Jesus Christ. May our prayers bring hope and ignite spiritual awakening and revival in our communities and beyond.
I encourage you to keep on praying. Please contact me if I can pray for you or serve you.
I remind you of the words from Hebrews 3:13 Encourage one another every day, as long as it is still called “today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
With a Grateful Heart,
Pastor Jay Johnston
